Mission
The mission of Food Depot to Health, Inc. (FD2H) is to enthusiastically provide professional programming for health and wellness initiatives to social groups, businesses, community organizations, churches and schools. Our knowledgeable staff will co-create a plan with each client to help increase awareness of healthy lifestyle choices. We will provide engaging biometric screening sessions and interactive training modules that will educate and inspire individuals in their pursuit of personal and community wellness
Veronica Walton
Executive Director
Mrs. Walton is an experienced project leader, working with both groups (small and large) and families. Over the last 20 years, she has developed and presented employee training materials, provided programming for health and wellness initiatives and provided project management on hundreds of projects within the green food space. Her wealth of experience also encompasses the successful facilitation of youth leadership programs at Cleveland Municipal School District (CMSD) locations.
In addition, she has designed after school & environmental science programs for South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District, Cleveland Catholic Charities, Hitchcock Center For Women, Park Village Apartments, Neighbors of St. Clair Superior (disadvantaged neighborhoods) and the Cleveland Public Library–Addison Branch.
Mrs. Walton actively participates in numerous community-facing organizations, which include:

• Coalition member YMCA
• Advisory Board FARE
• One South Euclid Board Chair for Community Engagement
She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Cuyahoga Community College and has completed course work at the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Management Cuyahoga County Youth Work Institute. The CWRU program focused on:
• Elements of Program Design: Designing, Teaching and Training
• Youth Work Methods Courses
• Summer programming Designs
As a lifelong learner, her demonstration of commitment also includes being a graduate of the Neighborhood Leadership Development Program; serving as a Cleveland Climate Action Ambassador, and being a certified instructor for Roots of Success for Social Entrepreneurs.
In her role as Executive Director of Food Depot to Health, Mrs. Walton has combined these unique skills and abilities to provide Green consulting and education services. Her experience is highlighted by the successful management of over 215 farmers’ markets and participation in 160 farmers’ markets and food-related health fairs to positively impact health outcomes for youth and adults in communities across Cuyahoga County.
